Drilling operations at the Siahmakan oil field began on the anniversary of the nationalization of the oil industry.
According to the public relations department of Pezhvak Energy Engineering& Services Company, the drilling operation of well No. 6 of Siahmakan oil field started on Wednesday, March 18th using Fath 93 rig.
The drilling operation will last 180 days as per the schedule, the depth of which is about 5,000 meters. According to the contract, it was decided to drill 4 new wells in this field, and with the launch of these wells, 4,000 barrels of oil will be extracted per day.
According to the report, drilling in this field will continue with the use of two drilling rigs, and the second rig will be dispatched to the desired location in the near future.
It is worth mentioning that Pezhvak Energy Engineering& Services Company, as the executive arm of the Siahmakan oil field development project, has been assigned for the engineering, support, procurement and supply of goods, and implementation in the ground level and underground sections, and so far has played an effective role in advancing the goals and progress of the project by using the extant potential and power.
