Pasargad 100 drilling rig was relocated from Yalda phase on Friday, March 26, 2021, after the Yalda 2 exploratory-restrictive well drilling operation in the South Pars filed, and after waiting for favorable weather conditions and sea conditions from the Yalda 2 region to the SPD18B platform.
According to the public relations department of Pezhvak Energy Company, the relocation of the drilling rig was done in the shortest possible time, relying on the capabilities and experiences of the employees of Pezhvak Energy Company, Estevan Kish Drilling Company and Pasargad Energy Development Company.
It took 60 hours to move the Pasargad 100 drilling rig to the SPD18B platform, and it was deployed to the new position after travelling 58.5 nautical miles and its erection and spud took about 32 hours.
It is worth mentioning that this successful relocation was carried out in compliance with all technical and operational instructions, without any accidents and under completely safe conditions.
