Changuleh Project's official kick-off meeting was held in Pezhvak Energy's central office on Sunday January 24th, 2024, also the project's effective date. Managers of Petroleum Engineering and Development Co. as clients and Pezhvak Energy Engineering Services as contractor were present in this meeting.
In this meeting Mr. Khajavi, CEO of Pezhvak Energy, while expressing pleasure for working directly with Petroleum Engineering and Development Co. hoped that this contract would lay the grounds for future cooperation regarding development of this and other oil fields controlled by of Petroleum Engineering and Development Co.
Mr. Sabzehband, representative of the client in Changule's project pointed to Pezhvak's highest score among all the participants in the tender and thanked the appointed team, hoping that with its high technical and practical knowledge it finishes the project as fast as possible.
He added that construction works and preparation of the access roads to the first oil field will be done by the client by the end of April 1403 and the oil field will be ready for digging machine then.
It should be noted that the preparation, testing and completion of two wells in Changuleh in a period of 18 months using a drilling machine with a power of 2000 horsepower was awarded to Pezhvak Energy Engineering Services as the winner of the tender.
Changule field is located in Ilam province, 35 km southeast of Ilam city and near the Iran-Iraq border.
So far, only two wells have been drilled in this field. The development program of this field is on the agenda of the Oil Engineering and Development Company.
