The contract for the use of a land drilling rig in the Qezal Teppe project was signed between Pezhvak Energy Engineering Services and North Drilling Company.
According to the PR report of Pezhvak, the EPD contract for drilling and evaluation of well number three in Qezel Tappeh oil field, with Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company as the employer, was signed in March 1401.
This project includes drilling to a depth of 5000 meters in three sections: 12 1/4, 8 3/8, and 5 7/8 with a pressure of 15,000 PSI and a temperature of 320 degrees Fahrenheit.
Due to the unknown nature of the field as well as the high pressure and temperature of the tank and its high depth, this project has unique technical dimensions and engineering, operational and logistics complexities that will be tackled by Pezhvak Energy Services.
It should be noted that the purpose of drilling this well is to describe the reservoir and its structure in order to show the feasibility of gas production and storage in this field. Considering the geographical conditions of the region and the distance from oil and gas sources in the south, this project can ensure the energy security of the North East region and Golestan province in particular.
