The operational phase of the Changuleh Oil Field Development Project was officially launched by Pezhvak Energy on February 10, 2025. At this stage, the O1 drilling rig, owned by Global Petrotech Kish, has been deployed at well CG-W01, marking the commencement of drilling operation.

Commissioned by the Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC), this project is designed to workover, test, and complete two existing wells in the Changuleh oil field. It is being carried out in Ilam Province, 35 kilometers southeast of Mehran City, under an EPDS contract.

Leveraging the expertise of its skilled workforce and extensive experience in workover well operations—gained from projects such as Darquain, Sepehr and Jufair—Pezhvak Energy aims to complete the workover of these two wells ahead of schedule.

With the deployment and spud of this rig, the total number of onshore drilling rigs operating simultaneously in Pezhvak Energy’s projects has reached five, underscoring the company’s leadership in advancing the country’s EPD drilling initiatives.
