Increase of 3,000 Barrels Per Day in Siyahmakan Oil Field Production with the Commissioning and Production Start of the Second Well in the Siyahmakan EPCD Project

Following the successful completion and commissioning of Siyahmakan Well No. 7, with an approximate production of 1,500 barrels per day on February 18, 2025, the operations related to flow initiation, well testing, acidizing, and coiled tubing for the second drilled well of the project commenced without a rig. On March 1, 2025, production from Siyahmakan Well No. 6 (the second well) was also successfully initiated. The production rate of this well is estimated to be around 1,500 barrels per day, with a flowing pressure of 1,200 psi.
The oil produced from this well will be transported via a 6-inch, 3-kilometer pipeline and connected to the existing pipeline to be transferred to the Bibi Hakimeh facilities. It is noteworthy that the hot tie-in operations for connecting the Siyahmakan oil field’s flowlines to the existing pipeline had already been successfully completed.
The Siyahmakan field development project is part of the production maintenance and enhancement plans, implemented within the framework of the 28-reservoir development plan. The project was awarded by the National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) (operating under the Gachsaran Oil and Gas Production Company) to Pasargad Energy Development Company and was successfully executed by Pezhvak Energy Engineering Services Company. This project has achieved the highest physical progress among all 13 projects awarded to contractors simultaneously and is leading in execution.
With the supervision and support of the project employer (NISOC), Pezhvak Energy successfully reduced the drilling time for each well, setting a record for the best drilling time among all wells drilled in the field.
It is worth mentioning that the commissioning, flow initiation, and testing of the third well will also be carried out in the coming days.
