Pezhvak Energy , with the Sepehr & Jufair project (6 Fahlyani wells), has been selected as a finalist for the International Project Management Award (IPMA 2025) in Germany.

Widely referred to as the “Oscar of Project Management,” this award annually evaluates outstanding projects across construction, industrial, and service sectors based on the Project Excellence Model and its updated version. The International Project Management Association (IPMA), in announcing the list of finalists, described the Sepehr & Jufair project as “truly exceptional.”

In the oil and gas sector, renowned companies such as Saipem, Technip, Petrofac, Bechtel, Tecnimont, and Siemens have previously won medals. From Iran, the Bidboland Gas Refinery project in 2020 and the Azar Field Development project in 2021 received this honor. Pezhvak Energy is now the third Iranian company to be recognized as a finalist in the small and medium-sized projects category (construction, engineering, and infrastructure).

IPMA announced that this year saw an unprecedented number of applications in this category, reflecting the growing importance of construction, engineering, and infrastructure in achieving successful project outcomes.

The final winners will be announced at the IPMA Global Awards Gala on September 19, 2025, in Berlin, held as part of IPMA’s 60th anniversary celebration and the closing of its 34th World Congress.
